After months of anticipation, Nashville hot chicken chain Hattie B’s is ready to open the doors to its new Dallas location. The restaurant starts serving bone-in chicken, tenders, and sandwiches today at 11 a.m. in Deep Ellum, located at 3000 Main Street. This fast-casual restaurant includes outdoor seating on a 1,000 square-foot patio, with 91 seats inside.
This is Hattie B’s first location in Texas, and there’s even a new menu item specific to Dallas: fried dill pickles with Hattie B’s hot spices. Today during the opening, score free chips with dill pickle seasoning.
The rest of the menu is the same as other locations. Popular items include the “1/2 bird plate” including a breast, thigh, leg & wing served with two sides like pimento mac and cheese and collard greens, bread, and pickles for $14. The spice level here runs from Southern (no heat) to “Shut the Cluck Up” levels of heat.
There are expanded boozy options at the Deep Ellum location too. Several batch cocktails will be on tap, as will white wine and sparkling white wine. Other alcoholic options include frozen cocktails with rum, vodka, and whiskey.
In preparation for this Deep Ellum debut, Hattie B’s popped up around Dallas in the fall. The chain has lots of plans for Texas, with a Houston location on the way too.
