A new entertainment outlet wants to revolutionize soccer as a true drinking game, and it’s en route to Dallas from London. TOCA Social plans to move into the Design District in early 2023, with high-tech soccer games that invite players to kick soccer balls at targets and more.
Located at 1313 Riverfront Blvd, the three-story venue will span 56,000 square feet and include four bars for food and drink and 34 TOCA “boxes” for soccer games. The interactive competitions are designed for all skill levels, from folks who’ve never kicked a ball before to FC Dallas super fans.

TOCA Social is relatively new on the scene in the UK, opening its first location in August 2021 at London’s massive entertainment complex The O2. In Dallas, the menu will be inspired by “some of the best food cities around the world,” per a press rep. TOCA Social’s food and beverage creative director is Ross Clarke, who previously worked at Fat Duck Experimental Kitchen in Berkshire, England along with consulting on London restaurants.

Toca has professional soccer bona fides: the brand was founded by Eddie Lewis, a two-time U.S. World Cup and former MLS and English Premier League midfielder. The company also runs Toca Sport soccer training centers, with plans to open five TOCA Social soccer entertainment venues by the end of 2023.

This isn’t the first UK outpost devoted to high-tech bar games to expand to Dallas recently: Electric Shuffle opened in November in Deep Ellum with futuristic shuffleboard tables.
