The sad news hit after the beginning of this year that Veritas Wine Room on Henderson will close by the end of March. Owners Brooks and Bradley Anderson, the same folks behind Hillside Tavern and Boulevardier, shared in an Instagram post that the beloved wine shop and bar will close after just shy of 15 years in business at a date to be determined. And it also teased that several events will happen between now and then, offering Dallas a chance to toast it out.
Bradley shared some upcoming events with Eater Dallas that will be available online.
On January 31, Veritas will offer a sit-down guided tasting with Lucien Albrecht, one of the top producers of white wines in Alsace, France. The winery has been around since the 1600s.
On March 5, it will host a supper club event with chef Matt Balke of Encina, with wine pairings.
And on a date still TBD, it will hold a supper club event with chef Matt McCallister of Homewood.
Follow them on social media or subscribe to their newsletter to land one of the coveted spots at these events.
And a little more good news for Veritas fans: the Anderson brothers will continue Veritas Wine Tours if you’d like a taste of the bottles they recommend.
