Oh heck, tell us the best thing you ate in the entire Metroplex

At the end of every year, Eater Dallas runs several pieces looking back on the year in dining, not only in our fine city but in the Metroplex at large. Those are submitted by invitation from local food writers, chefs, and influencers and look forward to the openings they’re most excited about, the saddest closings of the year, what they want to see more of in the coming year and more. This year, we’d also like to invite our readers to participate.

Email dallas@eater.com and tell us: what was your best restaurant meal in 2023? Tell us where you ate, what you ordered, and what made it great. Make sure to include your real name for attribution if it isn’t in your email.

These don’t have to be meals at brand new restaurants. We’d love for you to remind us of the greats we aren’t frequenting often enough and introduce us to some undiscovered gems.

We will collect answers until the end of the day on Monday, December 18. Make your voice heard. Your responses will be published in an article before the end of 2023.
