It’s been a tough time for holding a lease. Multiple long-running Dallas places have lost leases or could not come to terms with a deal with landlords, from Blue Goose Cantina on Greenville Ave. to Henry’s Majestic. Veritas Wine Room was set to fall to the same foe, announcing in January that it would close by the end of March.

But, in a stroke of good news, the owners posted to Instagram that they came to an agreement with their landlord, and Veritas on Henderson Ave. will stay open.

“We have unexpectedly reached an agreement with our landlords that allows us to continue doing what we love to do — serving the Dallas wine community. We are as surprised as you are!” they wrote.

And they went on to tease a 15th anniversary celebration later this year.
