For those times when you just can't commit to a full-size burger, there's the slider: a miniature patty perched on an equally miniature bun. Though some purists will argue the only "real" slider is the kind that comes on a steamed bun with chopped onions (a la White Castle), Dallas restaurants have taken the term "slider" and run with it, creating a plethora of different versions from pulled pork to lobster.
