Drinking wine in a restaurant is a lot more expensive than drinking at home thanks to those unavoidable markups, but there's something so very civilized about enjoying a glass of pinot noir with dinner. Thankfully, plenty of Dallas restaurants are catering to diners' budget-conscious sides with half-price wine nights. (Most of them fall during the middle of the work week, which is probably when you most need a little self-medicating anyway. )
