Whether or not you're a newbie or an experienced slurper, Dallas has a surprisingly impressive lineup of oyster bars for a totally land-locked city.

But where do you find the city's best oysters? Whether you're looking for a well-curated selection of the finest shucked beauties from the East and West Coasts, or just looking to chow down on a few dozen fruits of the Gulf, Dallas has plenty of options. Ranging from casual eateries to white tablecloth hotspots, this map offers a spot to suit those who don't know much about oysters just as well as those who obsessively search out the best.

For casual, roll up your sleeves and chow down style oysters, check out Shell Shack or Pier 247 for budget-friendly bivalves in a casual setting. For more of a red carpet shellfish experience, try Rapscallion or Boulevardier. Or if you're a night owl, head over to Gemma for their late night $2 oyster happy hour.
