Over at swanky Henderson Avenue destination Hibiscus, always-inventive chef Graham Dodds is experimenting with individual meat pies filled with a rather unusual protein -- goat neck. Currently a featured special, the pies are served over oh-so-autumnal celery root puree.

The just-relaunched Greenville Avenue Bar & Grill is embracing the meat pie, thanks to chef Richard Sipovic. His rabbit pot pie is a comforting melange of vegetables and tender chunks of meat tucked in a silky, not-overly-thickened sauce under a flaky puff pastry roof. It comes flanked by a side of sweet-and-spicy sauced cauliflower, though the only accompaniment it really needs is a cold pint of beer.
