Slice Crawl: Where To Find Pizza By The Slice In Dallas

View as Map

Sure, Dallas may know a thing or five tragillion about steakhouses and meaty meat-things, but it also has it's fair share of hand-held Italian offerings.

One isn't required to order an entire pie if one simply desires a slice of cheese and anchovies. There are plenty of pizzerias that provide pizza by the slice. Why, one could make a day — or a crawl — of slice sampling, even. If one were so inclined ... and, perhaps, dairy- and carbo-loading.

Here, we've got a map of some of the city's most celebrated sliceries, including one in Addison (yeah, yeah, whatever), one that can claim "FIRST!" as it's the oldest in the whole damn city (Pizza by Marco, you look so young for your age), and even one that technically doesn't serve slices but small, whole pizzas ... from a truck. There're even stops for the vegan and gluten-free (OK, one for the gluten-free).

And yes, there's plenty of New York-style (and even some that can't really be categorized) to go around.
